Mobile App Privacy Notice
What the CLICKSY mobile app does with your data — and what stays on your device.

The CLICKSY app is operated by CLICKSY FZC (United Arab Emirates). This notice explains what the app does with your data. It supplements our full Privacy Policy, which also applies.

1. The short version
- The app is a shopping client for our own store, clicksyworld.com. It sends data only to our store and to nothing else.
- Most of your in-app activity stays on your phone — wishlist, recently viewed, recent searches, and saved addresses are stored locally on your device, not on our servers.
- No payment card data exists in the app. Payment is cash on delivery.
- Analytics and push notifications are switched off in the current version.
- The app uses no cookies and no advertising trackers, and requests no device permissions (no camera, no location, no contacts).
2. Data sent to our store (WooCommerce)
When you use these features, the app sends data to our own store at clicksyworld.com:

Order and account data live in our WooCommerce store and are handled as described in the full Privacy Policy (retention, couriers, your rights).
3. Data that stays on your device only
These are stored locally on your phone and are not uploaded to our servers:
- Wishlist and recently-viewed products
- Recent searches
- Saved delivery addresses (used to prefill checkout)
- Your device-local order history list (order numbers of orders placed on this device)
- Language preference (English/Arabic)
Sensitive items (your sign-in token and cart token) are kept in the phone’s secure storage. On Android, the app opts out of system cloud backups, so this local data is not copied into Google account backups. Deleting the app deletes all of this local data.
4. Payments
The app supports Cash on Delivery only— you pay the courier when your order arrives. The app contains no payment card forms and never collects, stores, or transmits card numbers.
Future — Stripe: if we add card payments, card details will be entered in a payment sheet that sends them directly to Stripe(PCI-DSS Level 1); CLICKSY’s app and servers will see only a payment confirmation, never your card number or CVV. This notice and the stores’ data-safety forms will be updated before that feature goes live.
5. Analytics — currently off
The current app sends no analytics at all. If we enable product analytics (PostHog) in a future version, it will record shopping events only— e.g. product viewed, search made, order completed (value) — configured with no names, emails, phone numbers, or addresses in events, no session recording, and IP geolocation disabled. We will update this notice when that changes.
6. Push notifications — currently off
The current app sends no notifications and registers no push token. If we enable notifications in a future version: they will be strictly opt-in(you’ll be asked for permission inside the app, never on first launch), used for order updates and offers, powered by a device push token (an anonymous identifier issued by Apple/Google via Expo), and you’ll be able to switch them off anytime in your device settings.
7. Cookies
The app does not use cookies or web trackers. It communicates with our store through API tokens (the cart token and your sign-in token described above). Cookies on the website are covered in the website Privacy Policy.
8. WhatsApp support
Support buttons in the app open WhatsAppwith a pre-filled message to our business number (+971 54 244 9451). Nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp. Conversations on WhatsApp are processed by WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) under its own privacy policy. Never send card details over chat — we will never ask for them.
9. Deleting your data
- Delete your account: email support@clicksyworld.comor message +971 54 244 9451 from your registered contact, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will delete your account and personal data, keeping only the order/tax records UAE law requires us to retain (then deleting those too once the retention period ends).
- Delete on-device data:uninstall the app (or clear its storage) — wishlist, history, searches, saved addresses, and tokens are removed.
10. Your rights
You have the PDPL rights described in our full Privacy Policy — access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. Contact us at the addresses above; complaints may be made to the UAE Data Office.
11. Children
The app is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect children’s data.
12. Changes
We will update this notice when app behaviour changes (analytics, notifications, or card payments launching) and revise the date above.
